Aloha, I'm Lily Gullett

Biological Science Technician

I'm passionate about critters, planes, music, and disc sports. I'm currently working as a Biological Science Technician at the USDA National Wildlife Research Center field station in Hilo, Hawaii. My work involves doing invasive species research throughout the pacific. This year for work I've been to Mississippi (lol) and lived on the north Shore of Oahu for 2 whole months! I'll be heading to Midway Atoll in November for a mouse bait preference trial.

When I'm not working, I'm exploring the big island or flying somewhere! I now have a surfboard, my Jeep, and a bike named BlackHawk (good bit if I fall) so the island is my oyster. My favorite activities thus far are chameleon hunting, plane spotting, and hiking. Since December of 2024 been trying to get into running with fluctuating success and I'm proud to type that I finished the Taco Bell 50K in Denver recently and had FUN while doing it. Next up, the Honoulu Marathon :P
